This week I attended a fundraiser for
Son of God Orphanage in Haiti. My home Timberline Church in Colorado has adopted them and committed to help them over the next 10 years. The fundraiser brought in over $5000, which is significant considering it costs $96 to feed the 124 children three meals a day. I have such a heart for children around the globe and this just spoke to me. Next summer there is talk of a mission trip to Haiti and I am praying about what role God may have for me on the trip.
